I've always been fascinated by photography as a child. Watching my father capture photos as I was growing up intrigued me but it was on a trip overseas that really sucked me in. My father had switched over to slide film for the trip and something went awry and the exposures were off! I knew he was disappointed and frustrated by the experience. I made up my mind that as soon as I could get a camera of my own, I would learn it inside and out.

Having my first camera has come and gone (quite a long time ago). But, while I'm comfortable with all my photo gear functions, I'm still learning every day. The rewarding part for me is the smile on my subjects faces when they see how I've captured a moment in their lives.
